You can type in any part of the author's name: surname, forename, or both of them in any order. This type of search is especially useful by foreign names. That means you can enter the name in its original order: Christa Wolf, though the name will be saved in the database and displayed on screen in the retrojected order: Wolf, Christa. It is enough to enter either the surname or forename of the author, if you do not remember more, e. g. Bertold, Barinkai, Smallwood.
